Leclerc, afternoon of testing at Paul Ricard
After the success of Monaco, Charles Leclerc he returned to the track for the Paul Ricard tests. Today the Monegasque took over from Carlos Sainz – who ran 138 laps yesterday – and clocked up useful kilometers to test the 2025 Pirelli wet tyres.
The Monegasque drove on both intermediate and wet tyres, while the Spaniard concentrated mainly on the soft compound yesterday. Leclerc accumulated 160 laps, but on the shortest version of the French track (3.523 km long) while Sainz lapped mostly on the 5.842 km version.

As also specified by Pirelli, the circuit was artificially watered with irrigation systems in order to reproduce as faithfully as possible the conditions that the drivers could face in 2025. In these two days of testing Ferrari accumulated 1,350 km, which they will be very useful for Pirelli to have further feedback on next year’s tyres.
