Elden Ring, oh Elden Ring. How much we talked, discussed and above all played about it. A mammoth work of art and a symbol of this 2022 regardless of the summer and winter outings. Although the attention has waned a little, the new work From Software has literally monopolized the attention from February 25 onwards, making famous victims such as Horizon Forbidden West.
Yet, nothing new has been invented. We have seen plenty of open world and souls and the like we have played as many. Yet, despite some small stumbles, the union of the two has managed to create something unique and memorable in the gaming landscape, but without The Elder Scrolls, The Witcher III and Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it probably wouldn’t have been so striking.
These titles did not come out by chance but they are the ones that inspired Hidetaka Miyazaki for the creation of his latest work. Precisely in the interview with Xbox Wire Japan, the author mentioned these works, especially the Nintendo open world. Playing Elden Ring, you actually see many elements that resemble the above, so this revelation shouldn’t be too surprising.
