I am 133,142 new Coronavirus infections in Italy today, February 1, 2022, according to Covid data and numbers – region by region – of the Civil Protection bulletin and the Ministry of Health. There are also others 427 dead.
In the last 24 hours, 1,246,987 swabs were processed with a positive rate of 10.6%. Patients in intensive care with Coronavirus are decreasing, 35 fewer than yesterday, for a total of 1,549 hospitalized in resuscitation and hospitalized patients with symptoms are decreasing, 40 fewer. The total number of patients in Covid departments is therefore 19,873 people.
There are 11,116,422 infected with the Coronavirus since the beginning of the emergency, while the victims rise to 146,925. A total of 8,492,983 were healed, 248,971 in the last 24 hours. To date in Italy there are 2,476,514 positives at Covid.
DATA FROM THE REGIONS
LOMBARDY – There are 19,389 new coronavirus infections today 1 February 2022 in Lombardy, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. Another 57 deaths are recorded. The 19,389 new positives recorded today (8.3%) were detected on 231,218 swabs performed. The data released today by the Lombardy Region show 235 people (-16) in intensive care, 3,044 (+28) hospitalized not in intensive care and 57 deaths which bring the total to 37,241. In the province of Milan 5,177 new cases of positivity, of which 1,907 in the city of Milan. From the data released by the Lombardy Region, Bergamo follows: 1,847; Brescia: 2,967; Como: 1.030; Cremona: 810; Lecco: 557; Praise: 374; Mantua: 1,166; Monza and Brianza: 2,032; Pavia: 1,247; Sondrio: 242; Varese: 1,439.
ABRUZZO – There are 3,823 new coronavirus infections today 1 February 2022 in Abruzzo, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are three other deaths. The new positives bring the total since the beginning of the emergency – net of realignments – to 219,045. Of today’s positives, 2,643 were identified through rapid antigen testing. The death toll of patients recorded 3 new cases (aged between 73 and 89 years, 1 in the province of Chieti, 1 in the province of Teramo and 1 dating back to recent days, but communicated only today by the ASL) and rises to 2,814. This was communicated by the Regional Health Department.
The number of positive cases also includes 100,790 discharged / healed (+802 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / cured and deceased from the total of positives) are 115441 (+3015 compared to yesterday), the total also includes 82,310 cases concerning patients lost to follow up since the beginning of the emergency, on which checks are in progress). 430 patients (+2 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in the medical area; 35 (-1 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 114976 (+3014 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.
VENETO – There are 16,045 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 February 2022 in Veneto, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there have been 47 deaths which brings the total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic to 13,210 in the Region.
Admissions in the medical area increased by 41 units, reaching 1,839, while intensive care units occupied are 170, 10 less than yesterday. Infections in Vicenza are growing with 3,377 new cases since yesterday.
LAZIO – There are 12,131 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 February 2022 in Lazio, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 25 deaths since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 19,067 molecular swabs and 107,379 antigenic swabs were processed with a positive rate of 9.5%. The cases in Rome city are at 5,222.
The hospitalized are 2,081, 64 fewer from yesterday, 198 intensive care, 8 fewer, and 11,829 recovered. “The cases compared to the same day a week ago are 30% less” says the regional councilor for health Alessio D’Amato.
In detail: the ASL Roma 1 records 1,684 new cases and 4 deaths in the last 24 hours; Asl Roma 2: 1,971 new cases and 3 deaths; ASL Roma 3: 1,567 new cases and 3 deaths; ASL Roma 4 records 762 new cases and 2 deaths; in the ASL Roma 5 there are 1,110 new cases and 6 deaths; Asl Roma 6: there are 1,270 new cases and 1 death in the last 24 hours.
TUSCANY – There are 9,877 coronavirus infections in Tuscany today, 1 February 2022, according to Covid numbers and data from the Region’s bulletin. There have been 24 deaths since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 15,552 molecular swabs and 69,629 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 11.6% were positive. The hospitalized are 1,478, one more than yesterday, of which 104 in intensive care, 8 fewer. 146,732 people in home isolation. Since yesterday 14,428 people have healed.
PUGLIA – There are 8,595 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 February 2022 in Puglia, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 18 deaths since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 75,994 buffers, including molecular and antigenic, were processed. 715 are hospitalized and 62 intensive care units are employed.
In the Region there are currently 130,631 positives. Among the provinces with the highest number of new cases Bari at 2,504, Lecce at 1,925, Foggia at 1,284 and Taranto at 1,146.
BASILICATA – There are 1,499 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 February 2022 in Basilicata, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 2 deaths since yesterday. In the last 24 hours 7,892 swabs, both molecular and antigenic, were processed. Since yesterday, 1,011 healings have been recorded.
There are 94 hospitalized for Covid-19, 7 fewer from yesterday, of which 6, one more, in intensive care. Overall, the current positives residing in Basilicata are about 19 thousand.
MARCHE – There are 6,167 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 February 2022 in the Marche, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. In the last 24 hours, 7,104 swabs were made, including molecular and antigenic, with a positive rate of 38%. Among the provinces with the highest number of new cases Ancona at 1.803, Macerata at 1.329 and Pesaro-Urbino at 1.237.
EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 7,105 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 February 2022 in Emilia Romagna, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 40 deaths since yesterday.
In the last 24 hours, 76,889 swabs were processed, of which 56,315 rapid antigen tests with a positive rate of 9.2%. The patients currently admitted to the intensive care units in Emilia-Romagna are 154, 5 more than yesterday. As for the patients, hospitalized in the other Covid departments, there are 2,698, 3 more than yesterday. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 1,838 new cases, followed by Modena and Parma with 1,086 new cases.
In isolation at home 326,309 people. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the victims have been 15,128 in the Region.
CAMPANIA – There are 13,857 new coronavirus infections in Campania according to today’s bulletin, 1 February. There are also 63 other deaths: 27 deaths occurred in the last 48 hours and 36 those which occurred previously, but registered only yesterday. The total number of deaths recorded in Campania since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic thus rises to 9,202. 11,116 new cases emerged from the antigenic swab and 2,741 from the molecular one out of a total of 104,335 tests (of which 79,180 antigenic and 25,155 molecular). The percentage of positive tests out of the total number of tests carried out is equal to 13.28%. In Campania there are 88 intensive care beds and 1,404 hospital beds occupied by Covid patients.
PIEDMONT – There are 9,988 new infections from Coronavirus today, 1 February 2022 in Piedmont, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 28 deaths since yesterday. Positive rate equal to 10.4% of 95,798 swabs performed, of which 84,401 antigenic.
There are 132 people admitted to intensive care, 5 more than yesterday. There are 2,081 inpatients not in intensive care, 30 fewer than yesterday. There are 127,379 people in home isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 12,629 deaths in the region.
