Discover step by step how to pay a traffic fine without leaving home
It is becoming more and more frequent that some procedures of the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) that were previously done in person, now have to be done online. People live day by day with technologies and use the internet. For this reason, it costs less and less for citizens to carry out administrative procedures online, and for many it is an advantage to be able to carry out this type of procedure that is so inconvenient with a single click.
The DGT is also committed to the digitization of its tools such as its Electronic Headquarters, a portal accessible through the Internet and through which it is possible to carry out numerous procedures related to both vehicles and citizens, from the payment of a fee to the application of a new registration certificate for a vehicle. The DGT has an application available for the vast majority of mobiles (those that use iOS and Android as the operating system) and that allows drivers to carry out procedures from their own mobile. Thanks to the miDGT application you can carry your driving license in digital format, you won’t have to worry about not having your physical license with you.
