Finns have found something familiar in Vesala’s mud walk: “Every Finn walking to work in winter”.

On the weekend the ended Paris fashion weeks saw one fashion show more experimental than the other, but Balenciaga pulled the longest this time. One of the world’s most famous fashion houses organized its show in a muddy montu.

A total of 75 looks were seen in Montu. In the middle of the crowd, a rapper among others raps first Kanye West and a supermodel Bella Hadid.

However, many Finnish Tiktok users would rub their eyes when a video of a Finnish model started to spread on the social service. The show was closed by a Finnish stylist and model Mint Vesala.

Vesala’s personal and powerful walk has garnered admiration on social media. In addition, Finnish users have found something familiar in it: “Every Finn at winter walking to work”, one Tiktok user commented.

Vesala walked in the luxury fashion brand Balenciaga’s fashion show for the first time during Paris Fashion Week already in 2020. Vesala said then We for Womenthat she was spotted as a Balenciaga model on Instagram.
