Two families have been evicted this Saturday from the two floors they live in after the roof of the building collapsed due to a fire that broke out on the second floor for unknown reasons.
Sources from the Bombers have explained that this fire, in which no injuries have been recorded, started shortly before two in the afternoon in a building on Calle Francesc Layret in Cornellà, and that the fire has burned the apartment located on the second floor and has caused the roof of the building to collapse, which has completely collapsed.
After the members of six Fire Departments put out the flames, the municipal architect has inspected the state of the property and has agreed to evict its occupants, two families that will be rehoused by the social services of the Cornellà town hall.
