In the living room of Verissimo, guest of Silvia Toffanin, the teacher revealed what he was going through, speaking for the first time about his struggle.
Although summer and holidays were coming too very true, a very popular Mediaset program, the talk show continues to provide news and revealing interviews. The program led by Silvia Toffaninin fact, goes on hiatus, but the interviews don’t stop with the summer break of the program.
In fact, just yesterday, Sunday 2 June, the “Best Of” of the season was broadcast. Among the protagonists of the episode, which aired from 4.30pm on Canale 5, were Raimondo Todaro and his wife Francesca Tocca. The interview retraced their story and some not exactly temporary difficulties. We went from the alleged couple crisis to illness.
The former teacher of Friends opens without reservations. Few knew that, during the 2020 edition of the highly followed talent show, Raimondo Todaro had faced two tumors malignant. At his debut as a dance teacher in the famous Maria De Filippi school, he had shown no signs of any problematic health conditions. In the living room very trueguest of Silvia Toffanin, the teacher revealed what she was going through, speaking for the first time about her fight against cancer.
It all started with appendicitis. When they took me to the operating room, the operation lasted four hours because the appendix had perforated a section of the intestine.
From that moment, Raimondo Todaro began a series of routine checks. Everything, however, takes a different turn when, while he was entering the rehearsal room with Lorella Cuccarini and Alessandra Celentano, they called him to tell him that he had two malignant tumors and that he had to have surgery urgently. This is how the teacher tells the current situation of him to very true:
I was physically destroyed, I tried to smile and not show anything to anyone. I don’t know why, everyone reacts in their own way. Maybe I didn’t want them to look at me differently […] Luckily, work was the only time I didn’t think about it. I was afraid? Fear is an understatement, I was terrified.
During the period in which the teacher directly addressed the illness, his only thought was for his daughter Jasmine and his wife. Todaro didn’t think of anything else, and so he comments on that period, a period that in a certain way continues given that the therapy it didn’t end: “my daughter saw me going in and out of the hospital. She saw that dad had a pain in his tummy and maybe he sensed something.” Now, however, it is time to get back to full speed and defeat the evils that have affected him forever.
