The women’s football market continues to move and in Barcelona there is already a new reinforcement.
After announcing their first loss for the following season, Barcelona Femenil announced that one of their youth squads returns to defend the colors of the Blaugrana team. Laia Codina, the 22-year-old central defender who trained in Barcelona, returns to the culé team for this coming season.
Laia began her football career within the ranks of Barcelona, emerging from the academy of this team, Codina made her debut with the first team for the 2019/20 season, where she played 20 games, within which she scored a goal. The Catalan player was loaned in July 2021 to Milan to continue her football process.
After having finished her process with Milan, the Blaugrana youth squad returns to the team that trained her as a footballer. The defense, through a message on Instagram, thanked the Italian club and formally announced her departure with the following words.

The center-back during her presentation showed her enthusiasm for being back in the culé team.
