In the evening, in a Roman clinic, Renato Balestra, founder and owner of the homonymous high fashion brand, passed away forever. He had 98 years old and the announcement of his death was made by his daughters and granddaughter, who will now inherit the management of the company.
Also yesterday, after having fought for a long time against an incurable disease, Katia Bassi also passed away. Her name will not tell many, the magazine Forbes has inserted it several times in the list of the 100 most influential women in Italy.
