There Ford Puma ST Powershift introduces an enhanced version of the engine 1.0 liter EcoBoostwith technology 48 Volt mild hybrid. The Ford Puma ST Powershift features an enhanced version of the engine that powers the hybrid Puma, namely the 1.0 48-volt EcoBoost Hybrid. The power passes from 155 to 170 HP at 5,750 rpm and up to 248Nm of torque at 3,000rpm.
The mild hybrid system activates energy recovery faster than other applications for faster charging of the pack 48 volt lithium ion batteries. This allows the built-in starter/generator with belt drive (BISG) to guarantee greater torque and greater power up to 10 HP more. In addition, the Puma ST Powershift benefits from the same active exhaust valve technology as Puma ST for more performance and a distinctive ST engine sound when accelerating.
