A new initiative will approach the residents of neighborhoods and districts, 36 in a first phase, the importance of the ‘r’s’ of the circular economy. It will be on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from tomorrow until May. The City Council of Murcia, through the Department of Sustainable Mobility and Street Cleaning, and Prezero Services, launch the ‘Workshops’, to transmit to Murcia, in a clear, didactic, participatory and practical way, the need to reflect, reject, reduce, give away, reuse, repair, rethink, recycle, responsibility and claim, explain municipal sources.
Through workshops, “the importance” of developing new behaviors will be shown, taking waste prevention as a fundamental habit and, when this is not possible, committing to reuse, repair and recycling. Councilor Carmen Fructuoso explained that “among the advantages is collaborating in the conservation of natural resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants.”
