The fleet of branded scooters is renewed Helbiz present in Milan, with the American company leader in sustainable micro-mobility that announced the arrival of new, safer and more technological vehicles. The new scooters will replace the 750 units already present in the city, with important upgrades that align e-scooters with the new legal provisions. Among the most awaited innovations there are certainly the front and rear turning indicators, which increase the safety of the customer on board the vehicle. With a long-lasting battery and built-in mobile phone holder, the new Helbiz scooters are equipped with special LED lights placed under the platform, which indicate the state of charge of the battery: this will not only make the scooter more visible to the customer, but will allow him to know at a glance the charge level of the vehicle.
The sturdier fender and double brake make it the safest Helbiz scooters, while the front shock absorbers give greater driving comfort on all types of road pavement. The new vehicles are also equipped with a new generation IOT system inserted inside the scooter, for greater accuracy in locating the GPS, which will help to avoid parking in areas and in unauthorized ways.
News also in terms of branding: to characterize the new vehicle is the renewed blue color of the livery: Helbiz, in fact, innovates by revolutionizing its own image, choosing an easily recognizable and visible color. Thanks to this stylistic choice, the founding values of Helbiz are further enhanced and brought to the attention of customers: the blue of the livery, in fact, represents responsibility, creativity and trust, but also freshness and innovation. This color, which in the United States has already replaced white / black, is now also arriving in Italy, aligning and uniting more and more the two countries that together experience not only technology and innovation, but also a new, more recognizable and fresh branding. The sharing service on new vehicles is accessible to anyone who downloads and registers in the free Helbiz app, available for iOS and Android, without changes in price. The collaboration between Telepass and Helbiz is also renewed and continues: it will be possible to continue to rent the scooter and pay the cost of the rides with Telepass Paythe multifunction app that also allows the payment of blue stripes, fuel, car tax and much more.
“Milan was the first city in Italy to welcome us and over the years it has become one of the European metropolises par excellence, with which it shares an ever-increasing attention to issues of sustainability and citizen well-being. With the renewal of the fleet we want to thank the Milanese for the trust they have placed in us and give a clear message of the commitment we intend to carry out to offer an increasingly safe and innovative service. ” – commented Matteo Mammì, Helbiz EMEA CEO. “A special thanks goes to the Administration (to the Mayor, Giuseppe Sala and to the Councilor for Mobility, Arianna Censi) for their ability to see and for the mutual comparison during these years together “.
