Max Verstappen has extended to +21 in the drivers’ standings on Lewis Hamilton, thanks to the second place in the Interlagos Sprint Qualifying. The Dutch driver will have another chance to increase his lead tomorrow, as the seven-time world champion will suffer five penalty positions on the grid. But be careful: Hamilton will start from tenth place in the race, therefore much closer than Verstappen could have expected. Valtteri Bottas consolidated his third place with the victory in the Brazilian short race, going to +23 on Sergio Perez, beaten by an excellent Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard shortened the gap to team mate Charles Leclerc to 6.5 points.
