At the end of last year, Techland announced that the first dying light would be receiving an update that would improve its performance in Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Out of nowhere, this update is now available for free to all users, and here we explain exactly what you can expect from it.
via their social networks, Techland announced that this update is now available on consoles PlayStationand that in Xbox would be debuting “soon”. But what benefits does it include? In the case of PS4Prothe game reaches 30FPS in a much more stable way but what is really interesting lies in PS5.

In the new console Sony We have three different performance modes: Performance that reaches 60FPS in 1080p; balanced which seeks to reach 60FPS in 1440p; Quality which reaches 30FPS in 2160p. Similarly, its developers mentioned that there were improvements to the game’s draw distance both in PS5 like in PS4.
Publisher’s note: Yes, I am a little disappointed as I was expecting a new generation native version that would really take advantage of all the power of these consoles. Sadly, it wasn’t, but the base Dying Light experience will be a lot more enjoyable nonetheless thanks to this update.
