Madrid. Copla singer Gracia Montes has died in Seville at the age of 86 and the town of Lora del Río (Seville), of which she was a Favorite Daughter, has decreed two days of mourning, as reported by its City Council.
Gracia Montes has been one of the greatest exponents of the Spanish copla, an artist who was defined as “La Voz de Cristal” for her finesse when interpreting the coplas.
The Lora del Río City Council has made itself available to the family of Gracia Cabrera Gómez, whose artistic name was Gracia Montes, for any type of management that may be needed at this time.
