The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority said that it had received a report from a ship captain regarding an incident 80 nautical miles southeast of Aden in Yemen.
Yemeni local sources reported that the Houthis launched a ballistic missile from Al-Bayda Governorate in central Yemen towards the Gulf of Aden.
Other identical sources in the city of Lawdar and its neighboring villages in Abyan Governorate said that a missile passed over their airspace.
The Mukayras Heights, located in Al-Bayda, and the Abyan Heights adjacent to it, are considered one of the most important missile launching centers, as they overlook the Gulf of Aden at an aerial distance of approximately 70 kilometers, which is a good distance for targeting ships accurately.
