Pierpaolo Salmaso leaves two orphaned children: he was 43 years old and died in a serious accident on the ring road in Padua
A black weekend on Italian roads, with several fatal accidents involving mainly motorcyclists. The latest victim is Pierpaolo Salmaso, 43 years old, resident in Ponte San Nicolò. He lost his life in a violent crash during the night in Padua, on the ring road, Corso Argentina.
The motorcyclist was proceeding towards Padua East when his Aprilia collided with a car, an Audi that was in front of him, causing a fatal impact. A patrol from the local police of Padua intervened on the spot, but unfortunately for Pierpaolo there was nothing that could be done.
Pierpaolo Salmaso, married and father of two children, was a mechanic and a great lover of music and motors. His passing leaves an unfillable void in his family and in the community of Ponte San Nicolò.
Pierpaolo is unfortunately not the only motorcyclist who has died in recent days. Luca Pulsinelli, a 50-year-old forestry carabiniere, lost his life in an accident on the regional road 83 Marsicana, in the municipality of Opi, in the province of L’Aquila. Also Davide Paolini, 24 years old, he passed away following a road accident in Arcevia, in the province of Ancona. Salvatore Fico, 28 years old, died in a head-on collision between two motorbikes in the province of Naples.
Italian roads are once again confirmed to be dangerous for motorcyclists, with incidents that continue to claim victims. It is necessary to respect the rules of the road to avoid tragedies like that of Pierpaolo and the other motorcyclists who have lost their lives in recent days.
Riders must respect the highway code and pay more attention than motorists. Wear protective clothing correctly, be visible to other road users, keep your motorcycle in good condition and adapt your riding to road conditions. These precautions are essential to reduce the risk of accidents and ensure safety on the road.
