2K he turned to Twitter through his @ 2KSupport account to warn players of a phishing scam. The scam is the result of a security breach by an “unauthorized third party” who gained access to customer information through one of its help desk platform providers.
According to the statement, illegal access to some customers’ e-mails was obtained and a “malicious link” was sent to some players.
2K warns players not to open any emails sent by 2K or to click on any links found within the message. Beyond that 2K has announced some measures that users should take. These precautionary measures range from resetting your password to running antivirus software, details of which can be found in the full statement below.

The 2K hack follows a Rockstar security breach in which GTA 6 images, videos and code were stolen by a hacker.
