The roads, which are processed as inappropriate, will be marked with red color and an alert will be shown informing that ahead is not advised and that the data was collected through the Waze communications network. In addition, it will offer new routes for the best displacement. The goal is to keep users off the road with potential accidents and improve confidence in the application’s safety management.
The application will not show the alert for roads where the driver uses it frequently and will not use it repeatedly, in order to avoid overuse and anxiety, the new tool is optional and can be turned off in the settings, if the user does not want the alerts. The app is available for Android and IOS.
