Escuinapa, Sinaloa.- A few minutes after the Municipal Government announced the beginning of the organization and work for the festivities of the Sea of Las Cabras 2022, the Polanco family They were the first to buy their bowers, where they live the beach party at its best.
The Polanco family are beachgoers at heart and for decades they have distinguished themselves by family unity and the peculiar way of enjoying the four days of festivities by the sea. They even hold their own beauty pageant.
Leticia Polanco Durán, came on behalf of the family to make the payment that allows them to obtain the rights to fifteen huts, which they have acquired for years and in which they have enjoyed this beautiful Escuinapense tradition.

“It is a pleasure that the Sea of Goats festivitiesbecause it is a family party, we as a family enjoy it every year and the truth is that we were looking forward to it”, he expressed with great excitement.
He said that the Polanco family is already very large, since it is made up of more than a hundred people, and the vast majority meet at these beach parties where they even hold beauty pageants.
“In these fifteen enramadas everything that smells of Polanco comes together, there are more than a hundred of us who make up this family and we love these festivities because they are times of family unity, of joy and great hubbub,” Mrs. Leticia said with a broad smile.
Polanco Duran reported that this edition will be different, since they are aware that the health emergency due to Covid-19 has not disappeared, but they will adopt prevention measures to avoid contagion, which will be the mandatory use of face masks and adapt a healthy distance.
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the 2020 and 2021 Mar de Las Cabras festivities to be suspended for two consecutive years.
At a press conference, the Municipal Government of Escuinapa announced on the morning of March 7, that the organization of these traditional festivities had begun, since it is urgent that the work for the construction of 723 arbors and 50 of the commercial area begin.

They emphasized that the organization was beginning, but that did not guarantee that the parties would be a reality, since their realization depends on the opinion issued by the Ministry of Health, according to the epidemiological traffic light that prevails on those dates of Covid-19 infections.
