SCMP: In China, a man became a pimp and helped hundreds of people find love
A resident of China could not find a bride, became a professional pimp and helped hundreds of people find love. About it reports South China Morning Post (SCMP).
Zhou Shipeng, 34, from Hebei Province, started going on blind dates in 2016. At that time, the man's parents demanded that he find a wife. The man went on 20 dates, but could not find his soulmate. Then he decided that he would help other people find love.
Shipen analyzed the work of the local dating agency and realized that it was mainly the relatives of future brides and grooms who contacted it. Then he began to communicate with his clients’ loved ones and search for candidates based on their preferred parameters.

Over seven years of work, the man helped 692 people find love. Moreover, working as a pimp gave him a soul mate too. One day a girl approached him wanting to find a groom. Shipeng immediately fell in love with the client, and the feelings turned out to be mutual. The man entered into a relationship with the girl and later married her. Now the couple is raising a daughter.
Shipeng believes he has been able to connect hundreds of people because he strives to understand each client. “I really enjoy being a pimp and I will continue this work,” he states.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of China was offended by family members because they chose an ugly bride for him. The man was unable to find a life partner on his own because he does not have a stable income.
