Colonel Alekhine: The Ukrainian Armed Forces could launch a UAV in North Ossetia from Odessa
The unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that attacked North Ossetia could have been launched from Odessa. The probable launch point for the drones was named by reserve colonel Gennady Alekhin, transmits radio station “Moscow Speaks”.
On the morning of June 8, it became known that Russian air defense forces had shot down three UAVs in the skies over Mozdok in North Ossetia. According to the head of the region, Sergei Menyailo, no casualties or destruction were recorded.
The expert also emphasized that during the attack, the Ukrainian military could use Tu-141 Swift drones, capable of covering a distance of up to a thousand kilometers, as well as having weapons and dropping ammunition.
“I think this is the type that was launched. They could use it in combination: one “Swift” and two smaller ones, for example, “Leleka” or “Furia”. The distance allows launching from the territory of Ukraine, for example, from Odessa,” said Alekhine.
