BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment announces that Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will also be published on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store the next one November 7th. The demo is already available on all platforms.
The title was originally launched on Nintendo Switch in September 2022. This new version will be available in digital format at the price of €49.99 for the standard edition which includes the “Namco Game Music Pack”€79.99 for the edition Setlistwhich will include song packs “Anime Songs Collection”, “Namco Game Music Pack”, “Pops Collection” and “Vocaloid Songs Collection”.
In Japan the title will be released in physical version only on PlayStation 5we don’t know if the same will happen in the rest of the world. HORI will also launch the special Tatacon taiko-shaped controller in two different editions: one compatible with PlayStation 5, 4 and PC, and one compatible with Xbox Series X|S and PC.
This will be the first title in the series to run at 120 FPS on consoles.

Milan, 27 August 2024 – Bandai Namco Europe has announced that TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 7, 2024. This new version will support up to 120 fps, a first for home consoles, will include collaborative songs, and will feature exclusive mini figures for the new versions. Additionally, a demo is now available on all platforms.
TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival allows players to explore Omiko Town with Don-chan and Kumo-kyun, where everyone’s favorite Taiko elements come together in one place. With multiple modes that will take players through the ultimate celebration of music in Story Mode, there are more fun modes with up to 4 players in Taiko Land, or the ability to take on other players online in Dondoko Town. TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival contains 76 songs, including “Gurenge”, “Feel Special” and “Racing into the Night”.
The Taiko Music Pass, a paid music service, expands the game’s song library with over 700 songs that can be enjoyed at any time.
