Juarez City.- The health status of the minor involved in the accident recorded yesterday, this afternoon is reported as stable. After entering surgery at nine in the morning, doctors managed to successfully reconstruct the patient’s bladder and urethra, which had suffered severe damage.
Yesica Ortega, director of the Children’s Specialty Hospital, assured that the state government will cover all medical expenses related to the minor’s treatment.
Ortega added that the minor will undergo a second surgical intervention with a vascular surgeon to repair the affected vessels and complete the reconstruction of the bladder. The patient is currently under intensive care, with a tube and sedation to manage the pain.
Orthopedists have placed temporary fixators in the affected areas, with plans to install definitive fixators on Thursday, thus allowing for the next bladder intervention.
