Solar AURA expert Kim: scammers offer to buy supposedly ready-made versions of the Unified State Exam
Attackers offer to purchase supposedly ready-made versions of tasks for the Unified State Exam (USE). Vladimir Kim, an expert at the Solar AURA external digital threat monitoring center, warned Russians about the surge in fraud related to the Unified State Exam in a conversation with Lenta.ru.
It is reported that similar offers appear on Telegram, VKontakte, Avito and on the darknet. The cost of ready-made options can range from several to tens of thousands of rubles. It is noted that the price is affected by the subject of the exam and how much time is left before it.
The expert said that 95 percent of such advertisements are fraudulent. According to Kim, the organizers of the Unified State Exam are trying to prevent leaks of exam materials. “Scammers take advantage of students’ naivety and stress by promising “magic” solutions that do not exist in reality,” the specialist concluded.
Earlier it became known that the Russian military began to be deceived using a popular fraudulent scheme. It was noted that scammers ask military personnel to transfer money to a supposedly safe account.
