The current mayor only published a story in which he said that the city “is proud to welcome people without distinction”
Pre-candidates for mayor of São Paulo Guilherme Boulos (Psol) and Tabata Amaral (PSB) went to the LGBT+ parade in São Paulo this Sunday (June 2, 2024), but the current mayor and pre-candidate for re-election, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), no.
Nunes only published it on her profile on Instagram a story in which it says that “São Paulo is proud to be a city that welcomes all people without distinction”.
“There are many programs and services that only São Paulo offers to the LGBT+ population”wrote the current mayor of São Paulo.
“We are here to say that despite all the challenges, people are made to shine and we are here to celebrate and we are here to mobilize too”said Tabata in a video published on his profile on Instagram.
Until the publication of this report, Boulos had not made any publication on his social networks recording his presence at the parade, but he appeared on video published by the deputy Erika Hilton (Psol-SP) at the event.
