The rapporteur of the bill that foresees the gradual end of the Emergency Program for the Resumption of the Events Sector (Perse), deputy Renata Abreu (Podemos-SP), said yesterday that the idea is to maintain R$5 billion per year of fiscal impact of benefits, as initially agreed between the government and Congress.
The parliamentarian indicated that there may be changes to the text regarding the number of activities benefited, the revenue limit for inclusion in the program and the pace of reduction of tax incentives.
The initial proposal envisages serving companies with a revenue ceiling of R$78 million per year. The rapporteur, however, said that the value is still discussed.
