My Hero Academia, the famous manga drawn by Kōhei Horikoshi, will turn into a battle royale called My Hero Ultra Rumble. The announcement arrived in January but yesterday it returned to show itself through a trailer released on YouTube on the official channel of Bandai Namco, the software house that oversaw its development.
It is, as mentioned, a battle royale in which 24 players will compete. To triumph, as in any self-respecting title of this genre, will be only one player. The fights will take place in an arena and can be both hand-to-hand and with shots of very special firearms.
My Hero Ultra Rumble which, as mentioned, was taken from the manga and animated series of My Hero Academia, it will be cross-platform. In fact, it will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Still no news regarding the very probable next gen version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
You won’t have to wait long to play it. In fact, starting from last July 2nd, and until 31st, Registration has been opened to play the closed beta. To participate, just go to this address and owning a PlayStation 4.
The testing phase itself, also on PS4, will start from 04:00 to 12:00 on August 18th and from 04:00 on August 19th to 08:00 on August 22nd. In short, just under a month and fans of this beautiful manga will be able to get their hands on this title that promises to be very funny.
Obviously, among the characters that can be selected in the game, those who made their fortune before the manga and then the animated adaptation could not be missing. We are talking, of course, of Midoria Izuku, Todoroki, Bakugo, All Might and Himiko Toga.
At this point, we just have to wait for information regarding the release date which, we remind you, at the moment has not yet been announced by Bandai Namco. In the meantime, however, in August we can have fun with the beta version.
