A specimen of McLaren Artura it is likely to sell for just over $25,000. A price that, read quickly, could make your eyes pop: a unit of the Woking supercar sold at a tenth of its original value represents an opportunity not to be missed at first glance. But the one listed on Copart USA and located in Syracuse, New York, is not exactly any Artura: in fact, from the images it is clearly seen how the supercar in question is very damaged not to mention almost completely destroyed, which clearly causes it to lose much of its value.
More precisely, the bodywork is quite damaged on both ends, also considering that the problems appear to be even more serious on the driver’s side. However, it must be said that i Dynamo Forged alloy wheels ten-spoke still looks in fair condition, as do the body-colored brake calipers in McLaren Orange. In short, the external damage seems to be quite large, a different story instead for the interior: the cockpit in fact, it seems to be in fair condition, one more reason to think about getting your hands on this unit of the British supercar. The dynamics that led the driver to reduce the car to this state are not clear: was he the one who caused an almost fatal accident for the supercar or was he rear-ended by another car?
At the moment there are no answers about it, what is certain is that to date the highest offer for this Artura is approximately $25,750 10% of the original sale price of the supercar. Considering the state in which the car is presented, it would seem a more than satisfactory figure, but clearly it will be necessary to wait for the auction to close to understand what the real final sale price of this example of the Woking racing car will be.
