First lady Rosângela Lula da Silva, known as Janja, responded to a publication made by comedian and influencer Whindersson Nunes this Thursday, 9th. The comedian shared content made by Janja in which she appears emotional to announce that the horse Caramelo was saved in Rio Grande do Sul. The post by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s wife was next to an image considered a meme on the internet: a clipping of a scene from the soap opera Crossing in which actress Jade Picon washes clothes in a river.
On the social network X (formerly Twitter), Janja says: “for those who are spreading fake news out there, more good news! The horse Caramelo is safe, thank God, thanks to the volunteers, right? We have been there since early in the morning, 6am, mobilizing everyone to remove that horse from the roof and we managed to save another life.”
The rescue is a case that had national repercussions, in which a horse was left stranded on a roof due to the floods that hit Rio Grande Sul.
The rescue mobilized agents from the Army, the São Paulo Fire Department and veterinarians. Weighing 350 kilos, the animal was transported by boat after being sedated.
An X user shared Whindersson’s post with the caption “it was Janja who managed to mobilize the Army to rescue the mare Caramelo. She was the one who stayed in touch with the volunteers who found a stud for the horse. This attitude by Whindersson Nunes demoralizes a very important work that is being done”.
It was then that the first lady replied: “he doesn’t know that washing machines were invented a long time ago that frees up women’s time to do things and be wherever they want”.
The matter had repercussions on the networks this Thursday afternoon. The comedian did not comment or respond about what happened.
