On the occasion ofIntel Innovation, the Santa Clara house presented the new thirteenth generation processors and other interesting news. Among these, however, the new one obviously stands out i9-13900Ksuitable for gaming, creating and working better with up to 15% improvement in single-threaded performance and up to 41% in multi-threaded performance over the previous generation.
It is essentially the fastest desktop processor in the world. The new product family includes six new desktop processors, with up to 24 cores and 32 threads and an incredible 5.8 GHz clock speed for the best gaming, streaming and recording experience. “The 13th Generation Intel Core processor offers an unparalleled overclocking experience for everyone from experts to beginners. Users will see higher average overclocking speeds on P-core, E-core, and DDR5 memory. Intel has also updated its one-click overclocking feature, Intel Speed Optimizer, to support 13th generation processors, allowing users to overclock with minimal effort. The robust Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) 3.0 ecosystem offers a wide selection of overclocking modules. When paired with Intel Dynamic Memory Boost, this feature provides a smooth memory overclocking experience with DDR4 and DDR5.Thirteenth Generation Intel Core Desktop Processors “K” and Intel Z790 Chipset will be available starting in October 20including boxed processors, motherboards, and desktop system sales.
The new collaborative computer vision platform was also presented Intel Geti (formerly “Sonoma Creek”) which enables data scientists and domain experts to develop effective AI models quickly and easily. Through a single interface for data upload, annotation, model training and retraining, Intel Geti reduces the time, demand for AI skills and costs required to develop models. With built-in optimizations for OpenVINO, developers can implement high-quality artificial intelligence within their companies to drive innovation, automation and productivity.
Don’t forget that Intel is now also in the GPU market, with ARC A770 coming October 12 at a price of $ 329, especially suitable for a resolution of 1440p. Clearly compared to the new RDNA 3 and RTX 4000 these are video cards with less impact on performance but it is an excellent entry into this sector by Intel.
