In video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Gayer thanked the deputy from the Netherlands and stated: “The good people of the world will stand united against tyranny, whatever it may be.”

According to the deputy Ricardo Salles (PL-SP), who was also present at the European Parliament, Tertsch declared: “When parliamentarians begin to feel threatened by their opinions, it is because society, in general, has long been prohibited from having theirs”. The European deputy was responsible for the invitations made to Brazilians in parliament.
