In Hamburg, the stricter corona containment measures already decided in the past few days will come into force on Saturday.
Hamburg – As the Senate of the Hanseatic city announced on Friday, among other things, 2G will then apply in retail apart from in shops for daily needs and contact restrictions for meetings with and between unvaccinated people. In addition, all dance events are only allowed according to the 2G-Plus model with an additional corona test.
The specifications correspond to the resolutions of the federal-state conference on Thursday and were largely announced and decided in advance by the Hamburg Senate. A special feature in the Hanseatic city is that the exemption from the 2G rule only applies to children and young people under 16 years of age from Saturday.
The Senate had announced that it wanted to expand the 2G regulations to include young people from the age of twelve. This means that it will no longer be possible for unvaccinated young people to take part in the relevant events or to use the relevant services. To justify this, the government pointed out that vaccinations for over twelve-year-olds have been freely available and officially recommended for a long time.
