After the Trofeo Pirelli Am, mathematically assigned yesterday to Ange Barde (SF Côte d’Azur Cannes – IB FAST), also first in Race 2, Doriane Pin (Scuderia Niki – Iron Lynx) wins the Trofeo Pirelli, leaving the success of the day to John Wartique (FML – D2P).
Victory and 2022 title for Franz Engstler (Scuderia GT) in the Shell Cup and for Alexander Nussbaumer (Gohm Motorsport – Herter Racing) in the Am class.
In the APAC series, which ran its third round of the season in Tuscany, triumphs in the Pirelli Am Trophy for Yudai Uchida (Rosso Scuderia), for Kazuyuki Yamaguchi (Cornes Osaka) in the Coppa Shell and Baby Kei (Cornes Osaka) in the Coppa Shell Am.

Pirelli Europe Trophy
In front of her teammate Michelle Gatting, who precedes her in the roll of honor of the Ferrari Challenge Europe, Doriane Pin is crowned champion 2022.
The young rider from Scuderia Niki – Iron Lynx concludes an extraordinary debut season with a third place in Race 2, which saw her conquer eight wins, as well as ten pole positions, the last one in the second round at Mugello.

After the entry of two Safety Cars, the first for Nicolò Rosi (Kessel Racing) of the Am class to leave the track without consequences and the second for the one, equally without consequences, of Eliseo Donno (CDP – Best Lap), who gives a final lap full of suspense, Pin tries to undermine the compatriot, settling at the end of third place behind Neubauer himself, second, and the winner John Wartique, also author of the fastest lap in 1’51 ”423.
In the Am class Ange Barde greets his fifth title in the Ferrari Challenge with a new victory, accompanied on the podium by an excellent Alessandro Cozzi (Formula Racing), now fourth in the standings, and by Nigel Schoonderwoerd (Scuderia FMA) who started from pole position thanks to the time of 1’51 ”606 recorded in the morning. For Barde also the extra point of the fastest lap in 1’54 ”075.
Trofeo Pirelli rankings
At 37 points behind the new champion Doriane Pin, John Wartique climbs, who rejects with the victory the assault of Luka Nurmi, third at 62 points behind. The Am ranking behind Barde speaks Italian with Marco Pulcini (Al Tayer Motors), today unable to start after the accident in Race 1, 17 points ahead of the Swiss Nicolò Rosi.

Shell Cup
With his sixth win of the season, as well as his seventh fastest lap and third pole position at the Tuscan circuit today, Franz Engstler became the 2022 series champion on his debut in the Ferrari Challenge.
The German was the first to cross the finish line under the Safety Car, after the contact without consequences between Ash Patel (Kessel Racing) and Giuseppe Ramelli (Rossocorsa – Pellin Racing) a few minutes from the end, which follows the initial one between Joakim Olander (Scuderia Autoropa) and Christian Herdt-Wipper (Saggio München), drivers of the Am class.
The new German champion celebrates in front of Ernst Kirchmayr (Baron Motorsport), winner of Race 1, and Roman Ziemian (FML – D2P), author of an excellent test after the difficult qualifying in the morning with a recovery of seven positions from the starting grid .
In the Am class, Herdt-Wipper left the scene and his closest rival, Alexander Nussbaumer, who started from pole and with the fastest lap of 1’55 ”080, mathematically won the championship as well as the second test of the round. The second place on the Scarperia circuit is for the returning Henrik Kamstrup (Formula Racing), while third is Andreas König (Scuderia GT).
Coppa Shell standings
There are 166 points from Engstler, ahead of 47 Axel Sartingen (Lueg Sportivo – Herter Racing), 56 Roman Ziemian and 72 Manuela Gostner (CDP – MP Racing) who will compete in Imola for the final podium. In the Am class, only two lengths divide Christian Herdt-Wipper, second, and Martinus Richter (MERTEL Motorsport Racing), third, both behind Nussbaumer.

Ferrari Challenge APAC
In the Trofeo Pirelli Am, victory for Yudai Uchida, who started from pole, precedes his teammate Nobuhiro Imada, and maintains an advantage of four points in the general classification. In the Shell Cup, a clear path for Kazuyuki Yamaguchi with victory and fastest lap in qualifying and racing, leaving behind Cornes Osaka’s companion, Kanji Yagura, second today.
In the Am class of the Coppa Shell, replica of yesterday’s podium with Shigeru Kamiue (European Version) and David Dicker (Continental Cars Auckland) behind Baby Kei, with Kamiue taking advantage of the simultaneous absences in Tuscany of Andrew Moon (FMK) and Ryuichi Kunihiro (M Auto) in the title race.
Next appointment
Eyes now on the Finali Mondiali scheduled at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola from 25 to 31 October, where the last two rounds of the European series will also be held.
