Published this Tuesday (21) by Folha de São Paulo, a Datafolha survey indicates that 41% of Brazilians disapprove of the Congress’ actions, which encompasses both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.
Only 10% of those interviewed declared that they considered the federal legislative performance to be good or excellent, the lowest rate in the current legislature. At the beginning of the current term, in April 2019, the approval reached 22%.

Congressional approval is higher especially among those who consider the Jair Bolsonaro (non-party) government to be great or good – 18% legislative approval in this group.
The opposite was also found: those who consider the federal government to be bad or terrible (46%), the most educated (46%) and the richest (53%) tend to disapprove of the actions of Congress.
Among those who said that Congress’ performance is regular are 45%, with 4% being unable to give their opinion.
Datafolha heard 3,666 people between December 13th and 16th – there is a margin of error of two percentage points more or less.
