María Camila Osorio was beaten after losing the final of the WTA in Monterrey, and it is not for less, the Colombian was very close to winning the title and it escaped her.
Osorio lost in the final this Sunday against the Canadian Leylah Fernández, with partial 7-6, 4-6 and 6-7.

At the end of the game, and seconds before the award ceremony, Camila Osorio spoke to the audience, and confessed that this defeat hurt her a lot.
“Thank God because we are all here, healthy and they were able to accompany us all week. It was a wonderful week. They don’t know how this defeat hurts me, but we have to continue… (applause),” Camila said after her defeat and while being applauded by his fans.
Then he dedicated a few words to his rival. “I congratulate Leylah: you played very well, I’m glad you won the title, I hope we can play many more finals in these tournaments, in bigger tournaments, and thanks to the people who support me, my mom, my best friend; it was a wonderful week, and to you for the support. I hope to return to this tournament,” said Osorio.
