In the UK, doctors were unable to save a dancer who was addicted to experimenting with sex. About it reports BBC News.
26-year-old British woman Georgia Brooks was in an official relationship with 31-year-old Luke Cannon. Both introduced their parents and close relatives to their partner. However, on February 2, 2022, tragedy struck: Cannon called 911 because Brooks was unconscious. The girl was taken to the hospital by ambulance, but could not be saved. The cause of death turned out to be strangulation. As it turned out, Brooks and Cannon took several drugs that evening and had sex, during which the man began to choke his partner.
Cannon arrived at the hospital with Brooks. Upon learning that she paid with her life for his actions during sex, the man fled through the fire exit. A day later he was found hanging from a tree in the forest not far from the hospital. Cannon lost his life because he could not come to terms with what had happened.
The investigation into the incident went on for several years. After reviewing the contents of Brooks and Cannon’s smartphones, investigators concluded that sexual asphyxiation was a practice that Brooks voluntarily agreed to. There were other unusual sexual practices in their relationship. The court concluded that the woman’s death was accidental. Under the influence of drugs, Cannon simply did not calculate the force of pressure.

Previously, the founder of the Teach Us Consent foundation, Chanel Contos, warned about the dangers of sexual asphyxia. Strangulation occurs when a partner presses or squeezes the other’s neck, causing an internal airway blockage. Pressure on the neck cuts off blood flow, which leads to stagnation of blood in the brain and, as a result, dizziness due to a drop in oxygen levels and an increase in carbon dioxide levels in the blood.
