Sinaloa.- The mayor of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, announced in a meeting with members of the Cmic that the improvement project for Emilio Barragán is a project that bets a lot on Mazatlan and the urban rescue of the South zone.
Benitez Torres said that the state governor, Rocha Moya, already got engaged publicly to consolidate this work.
Once Gabriel Leyva Avenue is finished, the rehabilitation of Emilio Barragán begins up to the lighthouse. It is worth mentioning that the tourist cruise terminal it is located in that same areabecause will serve to communicate this new tourist areaaccording to the mayor.
The aforementioned terminal will not be exclusively for cruise ships, it would be for the entire town and other tourists. After 5:00 in the afternoon it will remain open, bars and restaurants will be installed. The Plaza de la Banda was also highlighted, it will be by the lighthouse.
The municipal president explained that around 5,000 families depend on this activity, which is why a place where they can work is urgently needed.
