The Santa Clause is one of today’s most beloved Christmas movies. This is due in part to Tim Allen’s role as the main and titular character. Although almost 20 years have passed since the actor put on the red suit, this will change in the future. That’s how it is, a new project of The Santa Clause is already in development, but we are not talking about a movie, but about a series.
According to Deadlines, Disney has greenlit a series of The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen, which will come to Disney + in an unspecified future. This will be a story that will take place after the events of the third film, and it seems to be focused on giving this story a definitive closure.
According to the report, the series of The Santa Clause will focus on Santa’s family, and looking for a replacement for this job, since Scott Calvin wishes to spend the rest of his life in a more normal way, in order to see his children grow up somewhere other than the North Pole.
Currently only Tim Allen’s return has been confirmed., and it is unknown if any of the actors from the films will reprise their roles. Similarly, there is no information related to its release date, but it is likely that more details will be provided by the end of this year.

Editor’s Note:
The idea of a retired Santa sounds pretty good. Although Tim Allen is not a great Hollywood actor, seeing him once again in the red suit will be nostalgic for all of us who grew up with these tapes. Let’s just hope it’s a good ending to this saga.
