After the restyling wanted by the Customs and Monopoly Agency, the debut is scheduled for January 8th
ROME. The first competition of the new Totocalcio is scheduled for 8 and 9 January 2022, ready for its debut after the restyling wanted by the Customs and Monopoly Agency. The announcement was made in a note sent by the Agency to dealers. The classic “13” will go to the attic, replaced by a product closer to new generation betting. The game modes prepared by the Customs and Monopoly Agency provide for the development of six types of predictions: in addition to ’13’, you will also win with 11 games, and climb with 9, 7, 5 and 3 matches
Matches on the calendar
The scheduled matches will be divided into two panels: the first will include the most balanced matches, chosen from those scheduled between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening. In the second, cartel matches will go instead, or in any case of greater interest. The start of the new Totocalcio was initially scheduled for August, to coincide with the new Serie A season, and was then postponed for the implementation of the required technical changes. The proceeds will be divided between prize money (75 per cent), point of sale (8 per cent), Sport and Health (12 per cent), dealer (5 per cent).
History
On May 5, 1946, the Sisal ticket was born, which was later transformed into Totocalcio. The original idea came from a sports journalist, Massimo Della Pergola, who together with his colleagues Fabio Jegher and Geo Molo founded Sisal. In the beginning there were 12 games on the ticket and those who guessed at least 11 results were awarded. The first winner was Emilio Biasotti, a Milanese from Rome, who won 496,826 lire. The golden age of Totocalcio was in the Eighties and Nineties, when up to one thousand billion lire were distributed every season. On 7 November 1993 the highest win ever: a 13 and five 12 earned their owners over 5.5 billion lire.
