WP: Trump offered Kennedy Jr. a position in his administration
Former US President Donald Trump offered presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. a high-ranking position in his administration in exchange for support in the upcoming elections. The offer was revealed by The Washington Post (WP).
It is noted that Kennedy Jr. was offered a position related to health and medicine. The candidate declined the offer, deciding to continue the fight for the presidency.
“I have the utmost respect for President Trump for reaching out to me. No one at the Democratic National Committee, high or low, has reached out to me in 18 months. Instead, they raised millions to destroy my campaign,” Kennedy Jr. said.
Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the National Research University Higher School of Economics Ksenia Bondarenko believes that if Donald Trump wins the elections, one should not expect him to lift the sanctions imposed on Russia. In addition, he will start trade wars again.
