Sarvin was arrested at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at his home. He was searched and his computer and phone were confiscated.
An associate professor is involved in a case involving purchased exams at a Russian university – two years ago, two students collected money from other students “for exams” that not everyone passed, and the relatives of one of the students wrote a statement about fraud. From that moment the development of the case began.
Earlier it became known that about 30 people were detained at a Russian university. According to preliminary information, among the people taken to the police department are both students and teachers. According to one version, the university organized a scheme for students to purchase exams.
The press service of the university stated that the university is helping and assisting in every possible way in the investigation. This incident will not affect work and the educational process will continue without changes, they assured.
