New earthquake shock today, June 18, in the Campi Flegrei area. The earthquake was recorded in the night after 3.58 am, waking up the inhabitants. As reported by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the magnitude was 3.4 with a depth of approximately 3 kilometers. At the moment no damage has been reported. A few hours earlier there had been two other tremors of smaller intensity.
As local newspapers write, the earthquake was clearly felt not only in the Campi Flegrei area, but also in Licola, Monterusciello, Cuma and also in some neighborhoods of Naples such as Pianura, Bagnoli and Fuorigrotta.
