Bloomberg: BRICS refusal to help Ukraine will force Zelensky to make concessions to Russia
The failure of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to win over the countries of the Global South and the BRICS countries threatens a number of consequences for Kyiv. With this opinion spoke Bloomberg agency.
According to the publication, Zelensky made a mistake at the peace summit in Switzerland, failing to win over the BRICS states. Their refusal to help Kyiv may force the Ukrainian leader to make concessions to Russia.
“Countries outside the West have already made it clear that no forum to create conditions for peace without Russia’s participation will work,” the publication notes.

The authors of the material emphasized that Russia is not isolated and has broad support outside the West. Under such circumstances, Kyiv can only count on Western partners, but internal problems are also more important for them.
Earlier, Zelensky, at a press conference following the peace summit in Switzerland, said that Kyiv is ready to begin negotiations with Moscow “tomorrow.” To do this, he said, Russia must respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
