Relatives of Russian hostages and families of other kidnapped Israelis staged a mass rally in Tel Aviv. This is reported by RIA News.
The families of the hostages have called on the Israeli government to immediately reach a deal with the Palestinian Hamas movement. Michal Lobanova, the wife of an Israeli with Russian citizenship, spoke at the demonstration. As the agency notes, a few months ago the woman gave birth to a son, but he still has not seen his father, who was kidnapped on October 7, 2023. “Dear ministers and members of the military cabinet, Mr. Prime Minister, you hugged your children today. Kai has never felt the embrace of his father,” Lobanova said. She called on authorities to make a deal and return all hostages home.
In addition, a video message from Russian Andrei Kozlov, who was released earlier in June, was broadcast at the rally. The man also emphasized that he considers the only way to save all those kidnapped to be a deal between Israel and Hamas.
According to the Israeli side, Hamas took 240 hostages on October 7, 2023, some of them were released, some did not survive.
