Half past eight, Cateno De Luca unleashed against Scanzi, Gruber, Santoro: “Castelli filled with insults. The ‘Freedom’ list censored or attacked”
Cateno De Luca, leader of South Calls North and federation of the Libertà list, goes on the attack on La7. In view of the European elections, the mayor of Taormina lashed out against what happened in the May 23rd episode of Otto e mezzo, a La7 talk show hosted by Lilli Gruber:
“But La7 managers saw the broadcast hosted by Gruber last night on La7 while a commentator, a certain Scanzi, filled our Laura Castelli with personal insults? A sad page of television, which has nothing to do with information and politics. It’s also crazy that none of those present – Gruber, Giannini, Bocchino – intervened to distance themselves from these insults. Today on the La7 websites we also find two links that highlight the ‘exploits’ of Scanzi himself against Castelli. We therefore note that everything was premeditated and taken care of down to the smallest detail by the La7 managers. If this were not the case then we expect La7 director Andrea Salerno to take a position. We also ask the director of TgLa7 Enrico Mentana to report our complaint in his news.
Furthermore, we always have a question to ask Salerno: why is Michele Santoro treated with kid gloves in La7’s in-depth programmes, while Is the Libertà list being censored or attacked?”.
