In the week that sees the arrival of AI PCs, Samsung could not be missing. The Korean giant has in fact presented the new Galaxy Book4 Edge with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite SoC, with a strong inclination towards productivity and features dedicated to artificial intelligence.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge with Snapdragon
The new Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is equipped with Snapdragon X Elitethe Qualcomm SoC that integrates a 45 TOPS Hexagon NPU and which entrusts the graphics sector to the Adreno GPU.
The laptop is then accompanied by 16 GB of RAM and a double memory size of 512 GB and 1 TB (the details of RAM and memories have not been specified), while on the connectivity front the 16-inch model comes with two USB4 .0, one USB 3.2, one HDMI 2.1 port, Micro SD reader and headphone output. The 14-inch model however does without the USB 3.2 port and card reader.
The display for both diagonals is 16:10 3K AMOLED with 2880 x 1800 pixels, with 500 nits of peak brightness, up to 120 Hz VRR and 10 Multi-Touch points. There is no lack of functionality Auto Super Resolution which improves the visual performance and the multimedia or gaming experience in general.
The new Galaxy Book4 Edge supports Wi-Fi 7, while on the battery life front the 14” model features a 55.9 Wh battery and the 16” a 61.8 Wh battery.
Price and availability
Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge will be available in select markets including France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, UK and US starting from next June 18, 2024.
At the moment Samsung has not provided further details on prices and any launch promotions.
During the week, ASUS with VivoBook S 15 and Lenovo with Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s also launched the new Copilot+ laptop series.
