As we have already reported to you, next week it will be introduced within Nintendo Switch Online + Add-on Pack the game pokemon stadium, within the N64 game catalog. This is an excellent novelty, which unfortunately has a limitation: an important function of the original game is not present.
Let’s talk about transferring Pokémon from Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow: the detail is indicated in a small print of the official trailer. The original game allows you to bring your Game Boy Pokémon into the GameCube video game. It’s a great way to get your creatures to interact and continue your adventures in a new format.
With Pokémon Stadium on Nintendo Switch Online + Add-on Pack you must therefore use predefined Pokémon, a possibility that makes the adventure less interesting.
Recall that Pokémon Stadium has various modes, with the main one simply called Stadium, which allows you to compete in 80 battles in Gyms and at the Generation I Pokémon League. We will have to beat the Gym Leaders, their “subordinates” and then move on to the Elite Four, with obviously the Champion waiting for us at the end.
Nintendo Switch Online + Add-on Pack is the “premium” version of Nintendo’s subscription service for the Switch. The cost is €39.99 for a 12-month subscription, but it is also possible to opt for a “family” version (ie 8 accounts with the same subscription) which costs €69.99.
