The international player of the Spanish team for more than a decade, Jenni Hermoso, has decided to appear before the media a week after the controversy that surrounded the women’s team: 15 players of the National Team resigned through a letter to be summoned given the existing disagreements with Jorge Vilda, coach of the selection.
Jenni is not part of the group of players who disagree with the coach of the national team, but she has shown her support for them and has requested a solution to this situation through a statement published on her social networks. “We are experiencing one of the worst moments in the history of women’s football in Spain,” replied the player, who does not share Vilda’s ways: she assures that the existing lack of communication has worn down the commitment; while she demanded that they be heard.

“I want to publicly express my support for all my teammates. Not only do I understand their reasons, but I have also experienced many of the sensations and concerns they have communicated,” the Pachuca player added in the statement.
In the next few days, Jorge Vilda is expected to announce the squad list to play the matches against Sweden, on Friday, October 7 in the city of Córdoba, and against the United States team in Pamplona. The presence of the Pachuca player is one of the great unknowns.
