Recently Nintendo has had enough problems in its American division, with reports of labor abuse that have basically reached the ears of the entire industry in the world. On the other hand, there has been talk of inappropriate behavior on the part of the staff, and according to the CEO of USA, They are already investigating these strong complaints against the company.
Douglas Bowser, sent an internal message to employees acknowledging the “media coverage involving complaints about the conduct of workers.” He wrote that they have and always will investigate any allegations that come to their attention, and are actively looking into these most recent and some older claims.
This message emerged very shortly after an interview with contract employees was revealed, the same ones who report abuses of unfair pay and also sexual harassment through their shared chats. Accusing two specific people, which had no repercussions other than following an anti-sexual harassment course.
Last year the company declared that they will not tolerate this type of behavior by their employees, something that goes completely against the values they want to spread morally. It was even mentioned that human resources will do the reporting, but it seems from recent comments, not much has been done about it.
